Friday Link Pack N° 16

Hello everyone - how has your week been?

This is the last week  where every day feeling like a Friday - in a few days it’s back to reality, which I’m now quite ready for. What are your plans for the weekend? We’re going away for one last quick trip to Mysuru, a former princely state in South India about 140 kilometres from Bangalore. The last time I visited, I was about two and have lots of photos of my baby self at the famous zoo there. This time I’m looking forward to visiting the incredible palace - apparently one of the grandest in India (that’s no easy claim here!) and taking a walking tour through the city.

Here are some interesting bits I found around the web this week:

1 / Reform has come up with a genius way to create highend designer kitchens at a fraction of the cost, using Ikea cupboards as the frame.

2/ Love this poster by Silke Bond, available at THE POSTER CLUB

3 / A micronovel by the great Chimamanda Adichie that had me squirming a bit - is it fact or fiction?

4 / Earth Loaf makes hand-crafted chocolates in interesting and uniquely Indian flavour pairings. Coconut, ginger and Ghonduraj anyone?

5 / A simple yet delish meal to make with leftover rice.

Enjoy your weekend and see you back next week! x
