The week's drawing to a close - yay! - and I hope it was a good one for you. We're invited to a gallery show opening this evening and I'm excited to go by. F was away all week, a new thing for us, so I think after the show we'll cook some dinner together and catch up. This weekend has some work lined up so it's not all fun, but tomorrow evening we're going a great casual restaurant to celebrate a friend's dinner: and plan the next time I'll be cooking there, so I'm really looking forward to that! I'll keep you informed on that so you can drop by if you're in the area!
From around the web, some interesting things for your weekend:
/ An artist's beautiful apartment in NY City: a week or so after moving in, with most of her stuff still in storage! This really proves that you can live so beautifully with very few possessions, its the philosophy and the aesthetic that count.
/ I think I've found my second favourite ring. My all-time favourite will remain this one though!
/ Five surprising lessons for love learnt from Buddhist nuns at Plum Village - this is a wonderful short read.
/ Seventeen easy (and delicious) dinners from the amazing Heidi Swanson. I've pinned quite a few of these - and some are in my permanent repertoire.
/ This incredible photo has be dreaming of summer - and if you're looking for gorgeous, responsibly made swimwear, look no further: this beautiful collection is made from recycled plastics fished out of the sea.
Have a wonderful weekend! x
