Friday Link Pack N°31

Hello everyone,

How’s this week been? It’s been a treat to have sunlight past 6 pm, even though it’s still so cold, it feels like change is coming. Today and tomorrow are packed with creative events: today is an all-day conference on design, creativity and business and tomorrow is an International Ladies, Wine and Design in Frankfurt—a whole day spent with creative ladies from around the world at a whole variety of events, that lead to dinner and a speech by the super-talented Jessica Walsh. And a party after everything, which promises to be fun!

From around the web this week, here are some fun things that caught my attention:

/ Could you live in a 175sq ft apartment (thats 16.25 sq m) — and eat in 6 nights a week? It’s very well-designed for the space, has some great small-living ideas and features great art.

/ Such a beautiful, multi-functional vessel by Menu (I saw a bonsai in one of them, it looked stunning!)

/ A beautiful musing by Pico Iyer on his first trip to Tibet in 1985 and the revelation he had that made him leave after 100 hours.

/ These are the most fun rugs EVER. Handmade in Portugal, totally affordable and definitely a conversation starter in any room!

/ Ikea’s new  INNEHÅLLSRIK collection of indigo home textiles made in India launches today: a great social initiative with lovely products to create more joyful everydays! Sounds like we agree on something there.

Have a wonderful weekend!
