I hope you've had a wonderful week! What do you have planned for the weekend? The pop-in in Leipzig ends today, so we're driving up to pack up. Sunday is the See.You Pop-Up in Frankfurt—so stop by if you're in the area! Some other lovely Frankfurt designers are showing as well and i'm debuting a collection of summer and swimwear that's definitely worth checking out. More information here, I'd love to see you there!
Some inspiration from around the internet for the rest of the weekend:
/ Simone Giertz makes useless things — and she gives a really hilarious TED talk on why we should all do things that don't necessarily have to work!
- You can't NOT smile when you see this colourful London apartment. So many great DIY ideas here, especially wall treatments.
- A very interesting article on a phenomenon that has quietly been gaining popularity America: restaurants run by queer women—and their partners. They're striving for a more inclusive, less brutal paradigm than that that informs most regular kitchen restaurants.
- Not the most typical kitchen layout, and I love it — it looks so stylish, love the colour palette. That terrazzo table!!!
- Beautiful collages in these sketchbooks — and a great alternative for someone like me who can't draw AT ALL to do quick "sketches". Bea also co-organises the Amsterdam chapter of Ladies, Wine and Design, she's very fun soul.
Have a wonderful weekend and don't forget to come by our pop-up if you're in the area!
