Hi everyone, how have you been?
It’s a while since I last wrote her, so sorry for the abrupt disappearance. I took a short break and went over to visit a friend that’s currently living in New York. It was an intense and fun few days — that city has crazy energy! What was lovely was also sort of living there, not just being a tourist in the conventional sense. Julia had some great tips and took lots of time to hang out, which was really special. Most memorable events: walking through Bushwick and looking at all the great street art, going crazy in the amazing little boutiques in Williamsburg and seeing the Soul of a Nation exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum. That city always leaves me feeling a huge sense of respect for the people that call it home.
Now it's back to life as usual and leave this evening for Munich. I’m part of the Kitchen Party pop-up that the lovely ladies at plattform15 are hosting tomorrow, so if you’re in Munich and would like to stop by, I’d love that! They’re serving wine, water and snacks and have gathered some wonderful brands to browse.
For the rest of the weekend, here are great links, if you’re in the mood to read:
/ What your zodiac sign says about your career attitude.
/ A serene, beautifully curated apartment (with great vintage design pieces!) Using black furniture when you have lots of white walls is such a great idea.
/ A great series of non-binary portraits. Particularly sensitive given our current times and discussions around gender.
/ These handmade brass earrings are stunning. I love that they're not symmetric!
/ The former home of the great Donald Judd has been converted into a permament exhibition, in exactly the state it was during his life there.

Have a wonderful weekend!
