Did this week fly by for you, as it did me? The days suddenly seem so much longer, and the glowing sunshine we’ve been having feel very much like Spring’s coming. It’s been an intense week so I’m looking forward to spending some time in the kitchen, cooking for friends we’re having for dinner on Saturday and relaxing with some books on Sunday. What do you have planned?
If you’d like, here’s some weekend reading, just for you:
/ Have you heard of the Kumbh Mela? It’s the largest religious gathering in the world, that happens once every 3 days in a specified location on the banks of holy river—this year 150 million sadhus (holy men), worshippers and curious visitors gathered from January to March. This photo documentary is a great way to immerse yourself in its world.
/ Lavanya Mahendran took a year off from her settled, “too-certain” life and decided to set off to find some answers. After allowing herself to driven not by external validation but by her own pace, she’s come to some startling conclusions.
/ I bookmarked lots of pointers from this eclectic Brooklyn home belonging to the French designer C.S. Valentin.
/ These stylish, fun pool sliders are the perfect accessory for summer…
/ This delicious and easy dish is going on the table for our Saturday night dinner (with a few others as well!)
Have a lovely weekend!
