In Conversation: The Lindenberg Edit

In Conversation is a new series of talks with women we find fascinating: We want to hear their take on business, femininity & feminism, fashion, body image and the things that move them.

In this edition, Julia, Nina and Ubin from the Lindenberg team picked their favourite looks from our collection, perfect for summer and beyond.

The Lindenberg isn't quite a hotel, nor is it a shared living space. It's brought a new class of hospitality to Frankfurt with its distinct sense of style and humour. Julia, Nina and Ubin from the team picked their favourite looks from our collection, perfect for summer and beyond.

"Fashion means a lot to me and often expresses my mood. My closet is filled with different styles, I like being playful with my looks and 'trendy' isn't really my thing. As the daughter of a boutique owner, a love of fashion is probably in my blood.

The dress I picked is a great mix of sexy and sporty, that really appeals to me!"

“For me, style is timeless and is made up of essential pieces. It underlines your personality, expresses your identity and is always in relationship to your perception of who you really are—to your sense of self.”

“I also love experimenting with different styles and pieces on occasion, but I am a very easy-going person, and this character trait is always reflected in my choice of outfits, no matter if chic or casual. For me, style is all about authenticity.”

"My style is like me. Growing up in Berlin Kreuzberg in the 90s when the streets were plastered with dog shit and full of grumpy poor people, I still have this rough urbanity inside of me (proud of it!). So sometimes I like to wear sneakers, a shirt and sweatpants. My parents are from Korea and I have really fancy aunties in Gangnam, Seoul who've given me Gucci and Burberry since I was little. Their fanciness inspires my style as well—once in a while you'll see me with bling and feminine clothes, heels and so on. I went to art school in my twenties so that period released my inner Bohème idiot, which influences my style until today. It’s a weird mix just like me. I call it Uwe style"

"I chose this outfit because the blouse reminds me of dolce vita in Paris. It feels like waking up in the Marais, leaving the house to buy a newspaper and a croissant , and looking fab without any effort."
