Valerie Christoph is calm and still, yet full of energy. She's a self-deprecating powerhouse with a fabulous wardrobe with pieces that range from minimal and structured to sequin-covered and she rocks each with elan and certain pragmatism. If all this sounds like a lot of different facets, that's exactly how she is — so please say hello to Valerie!

Hi Valerie, tell us a bit about yourself!
I moved to Frankfurt almost 20 years ago. The Nordend is our hood, and I live there with my partner, our son and our young cat. My business partner Armin Jenisch and I run an artist management agency called Wildfoxrunning, and we represent and manage some great photographers and illustrators from all over the world.
One word to describe how you view yourself:
Fortunate. I love life and life mostly loves me too.
Zero gold-plated drop earrings
What always makes you laugh?
Being with animals or feeling the sun, wind, rain or snow on my skin.
Do you have a favourite childhood memory you’d like to share?
When I was 5, my parents took me to an event on the well-known sailboat Gorch Fock in Kiel. The captain gave a moving speech, during which I disappeared and found my way to a room with an elaborate buffet. Grabbing a spoon, I started eating whatever caught my fancy. Some time later, the entire crowd of ship captain, guests and my worried parents (who couldn’t imagine where I was!) came into the room, and stopped and just stared at me in surprise. I think my parents were quite ashamed of me at the time, their daughter standing in front of the buffet with a mouth full of food…
What helps you stay positive when things get hard?
My family and friends, our cat, good music, good food and sunshine.
Do you have a favourite ritual
Yoga and coffee.
Glass and brass mixed bead necklace
Are you a morning or an evening person?
A track you’re currently listening to a lot…
It’a an oldie but I still like it a lot: Bruce Springsteen - State Trooper Trentemøller Mix
If you had one hour more per day, what would you do with it?
Exercise or spend it outside in nature.
A life hack you don’t ever want to live without…
In summer I collect coffee leftovers and use them to make coffee ice cubes.

Thank you Valerie!
