The lovely ladies of plattform15 had invited me to be a part of their latest Kitchen Party last Friday evening in Munich. Hosted in their beautiful office space, this quarterly series of events brings a discerning crowd together with selected brands and designers. Over wine, snacks and music, people have the chance to mingle and shop in an intimate, engaging manner.
I was really honoured to be a part of the lineup, given that it included Anna von Bergmann and her beautiful handmade jewellery and Justine Nessi, who designs and makes stunning handbags in her Munich Atelier.
Both these very talented ladies were also so warm and encouraging. They shared stories of their struggles, mistakes, hilarious botches and so many other tidbits. It was really encouraging to see how different people journey down this path of being a creative entrepreneur, and that it does have its fair share of difficulties. That’s why community and generosity are so crucial and these two ladies exemplified both.
All in all, it was a wonderful evening. The guests were curious and open, and many shared their experiences of India. They were also interested in learning more about Indian Goods Co. and my philosophy, which was also really heart-warming. All in all, a great experience and a chance to meet some lovely new people!
PS: If you'd like to include Indian Goods Co. in an event you’re hosting or know about, do let me know! xx
