It's almost weekend time, I'm so ready for it even though I didn't have anything close to a stressful week at all! There's been a lot of change on our end: we came back from our holiday with a tiny baby kitten that we've named Mizu (it's Japanese for water, and suits her calm, peaceful personality!) and so it's been a week of cuddles, playing and getting to know each other better. She is the cutest and I know I'm biased, but I can spend hours with her... Having her in our lives has changed so much so fast, it sounds cliched but I don't think things will ever be the same again. We're going to be introducing her to close friends this Saturday evening and otherwise just relaxing together.
If you're in the mood for some reading this weekend, here are some interesting finds from around the net:
/ Amazing new takes on the ancient art of mehendi or henna decoration, which is such an intrinsic part of Indian culture, especially at weddings. These two ladies have completely redefined what henna can be today
/ This weekend getaway is a a beautiful rustic cabin without running water, electricity or cellular network. It looks serene and so totally right for recharging.
/ Pretty Pegs makes beautiful knobs and legs for Ikea's Besta range of cabinets, allowing you great customization options
/ This dress would be perfect for the upcoming cool weather. Love the colour and the fit.
/ How divine this would smell! (from the Jamalpur Flower Market via Kangan Arora)
Have a beautiful weekend! x
